FAQ
Common questions about privacy, decryption, and where Obscura runs.
What exactly stays private?
Amounts, pool sizes, vested and claimed balances, and subtotals are encrypted onchain. Recipient addresses stay visible, which is the ERC-7984 model.
Who can decrypt an allocation?
Only the recipient, plus the campaign owner for totals. Each recipient decrypts their own amount with one wallet signature per session, then it is silent.
What can Obscura distribute?
Confidential airdrops (pull), vesting grants with cliffs and linear release, and bulk disperse (push), all in encrypted ERC-7984 tokens.
What is it built on?
The TokenOps SDK, Zama's FHEVM and relayer, ERC-7984 with OpenZeppelin confidential contracts, and a Next.js 15 with wagmi frontend.
Where does it run?
Live on Sepolia, where the TokenOps distribution contracts are deployed. Connect a wallet and import any confidential ERC-7984 token you hold to try it.
Do recipients need anything special?
Just a wallet. Open the claim link, verify and decrypt your amount, then claim. The flow feels like any normal dapp.
